Somali Sunshine
Cattery
Welcome to Somali Sunshine, a small, family-run, TICA-registered Somali cattery based in Toronto, Ontario, Canada.
Our breeding program is built on diverse and exceptional grand champion bloodlines, with a strong commitment to health, temperament, and the beauty of the Somali breed. Each pairing is thoughtfully planned, with comprehensive genetic screening through Wisdom Panel and PCR testing to support the health of our cats.
Health and responsible breeding are at the heart of our cattery. Our breeding cats undergo comprehensive DNA screening through Wisdom Panel, along with PCR testing to monitor for infectious diseases and pathogens.
All our kittens are born and raised in our home, surrounded by love, daily interaction, and enriching experiences. By keeping our cattery small, we ensure every kitten receives the individual attention and care they deserve.
At Somali Sunshine, you're not just welcoming a kitten into your home, you're becoming part of our extended family. We cherish the lifelong friendships we build with our kitten families and are always here to offer guidance, support, and share in the joy of watching your companion grow. ☀️

Client testimonials
We got Rose from the Somali Sunshine Cattery, and we couldn’t be happier with our decision. The team at Somali Sunshine was caring, knowledgeable, and willing to answer any questions we had. The adopting process went really smoothly, we were able to meet Rose and the Team first online where they answered our questions about the breed, dietary needs, and adoption process. We picked her up a few weeks later with all her vaccinations. Rose is healthy, playful, and affectionate—she follows us around the house and enjoys sitting between us while we watch TV. She is a treasured member of our family, and we owe it the care she received at the Somali Sunshine Cattery.
