Our Story

Welcome to Somali Sunshine, where our love for Somali cats shines bright! My name is Margaret, and along with my daughter, I turned my retirement into an opportunity to share the joy of these extraordinary cats with families like yours. Inspired by my passion to care for animals and my daughter’s encouragement, Somali Sunshine grew into a family-run, hobby cattery dedicated to raising kittens that enrich lives with their warmth, playfulness, and charm.

Why do we love Somali cats? Somali cats are unlike any other breed, with their stunning fox-like appearance, vibrant coats, and lively personalities. They are incredibly affectionate, playful, and curious, always eager to interact and bond with their human families. Somali cats are known for their intelligence and agility, making them endlessly entertaining and wonderful companions. As a TICA (The International Cat Association) certified cattery, Somali Sunshine is committed to breeding Somali kittens known for their beautiful coats, strong health, and friendly personalities. Each kitten is raised in a cage free home environment, where they receive the love, attention, and socialization needed to become happy, well-adjusted companions.
